The meeting between the two, comes a day after Rahul Gandhi raked up a controversial audio clip in which a Goa minister is heard talking about how Manohar Parrikar boasted about having files related to the Rafale deal in his bedroom.

While commenting on Rahul Gandhi's visit, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that this was a personal visit but the mahabharat on Rafale fighter jet controversy will continue.

The Rafale deal has become controversial with the Rahul Gandhi-led Congress claiming that there are irregularities in the deal to purchase 36 Rafale fighter jets from a French company.

"It's obvious that the tapes are authentic & that Goa CM, Parrikar, is in possession of explosive RAFALE secrets, that give him power over the PM," Rahul Gandhi had tweeted yesterday, talking about the controversial audio tape.

The Goa minister who was purportedly heard on the tape -- Vishwajit Rane -- has said tha the audio is not authentic.
