Sunny Deol addressed a public meeting in Haryana's Hisar in support of state's outgoing Finance Minister and businessman Abhimanyu.
Who isn't aware of Sunny Deol's most celebrated dialogue from the movie Damini - "tareekh-pe-tareekh, tareekh-pe-tareekh, tareekh-pe-tareekh milti gayi My Lord, par insaaf nahi mila."
Recalling the dialogue, actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol appealed to voters in Hisar, Haryana, on Friday to remember the date October 21.
"Tareekh-pe-tareekh, tareekh-pe-tareekh, par 21 tareekh ko yaad rakhna, kamal ke phool ka button dabana hai," Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sunny Deol said in Hisar addressing a public meeting in support of Haryana's outgoing Finance Minister and businessman Abhimanyu.

"Nahi toh ye 2.5 kg ka haath jab uthta hai toh kya hota hai? Iss bar aapse sirf haath jodne aaya hun," Sunny Deol said while recalling another unforgettable dialogue from his 1990's movie Ghayal.
Assembly elections in Haryana will be held on October 21 to elect 90 members of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. The results will be announced on October 24.
Sunny Deol joined the BJP in April in Delhi, in the presence of Union ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Piyush Goyal. He filed his nomination for the Lok Sabha 2019 polls from Punjab's Gurdaspur later that month.
