Uttar Pradesh: 5 dead, 10 admitted after consuming illicit liquor in Deoband
The 10 people who have been admitted to the district hospital are in serious condition, the police said.
Five people died and around 10 were admitted to a hospital after they consumed illicit liquor in the Nagal thana area of Deoband in Uttar Pradesh.
Police reached the spot as soon as they got to know about the incident.

The case comes under Maa Kohram police station in the Nagal village.
In similar incidents, nine people have died due to illicit liquor in different villages of Taryasujan thana area in Kushinagar in the last two days.
An inspector and four other police officers have been suspended in the case.
So far, police have sent only two bodies for post mortem.
The village authorities had put a ban on the production of illicit liquor in the area.
