Rains wreak havoc in Uttarakhand: Houses, bridges, washed away, 28 people killed

Heavy rains have wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand, claiming lives of 28 people. Chamoli is the worst-affected area with the maximum number of deaths reported. Houses, bridges, have been completely washed away. Locals have captured horrifying scenes from the rain-affected Uttarkhand.

Heavy incessant rainfall has also led the Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway at Lambagad to be blocked, causing inconvenience for tourists and locals.
