IRCTC is offering 5-day trip to Andamans for Rs 21k including flights

If you haven't visited Andaman and Nicobar Islands yet, this could be the best time to tick the destination off your bucket list.

That's because IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) Tourism is offering a trip to the destination at a reasonable price.

The tour package to the destination is of four nights and five days from Kolkata. The trip will be via IndiGo's Economy class, as mentioned on the official website.

The tour, which will commence on August 15, 2018, starts at Rs 21,120 per person (in the triple occupancy segment), which is inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax). On double occupancy, IRCTC will charge Rs 21,760, and Rs 19,815 for children with bed.

The flight from Kolkata will depart at 0735hrs and will reach Port Blair at 0950hrs. The return flight will depart at 1020hrs and reach Kolkata at 1235hrs.

The package includes air-conditioned accommodation on double sharing basis at all places, entry permits, entry tickets, ferry tickets and forest area permits.

The cost of travel of one child between the age of one and four will be complimentary, who will share hotel accommodation with parents.

Flight tickets will be required for children above two years of age.
