The East Delhi Municipal Corporation, therefore, decided to completely ban the movement of traffic in this market. Standing committee chairman Sandeep Kapoor said the decision of the East Delhi Municipal Corporation has been taken so that the people who come here to shop should not have trouble.

Fancy lighting will be done in this market and it will be beautified by planting trees which will also increase the business of shopkeepers, Kapoor said.

According to Kapoor, after the move, the encroachment will be stopped completely and people will be able to shop in a pollution-free environment. A multi-level parking has also been made in this area recently. People can park their cars in the multilevel-parking and go for shopping. Many traders are opposing the decision.
