The elderly, first time-voters and youth were major participants to caste their votes on Sunday. For a first-time voter, it was a great moment for excitement.
"I am happy to cast my vote here. I have voted for development and more employment opportunities. We are young voters and our government should create more jobs for us," said Mansi Sharma, 21, a graduate student.
Three-time Delhi CM Shiela Dikshit is pitted against BJP's local MP Manoj Tiwari and AAP's Dilip Pandey in this seat.
The constituency saw a polling percentage of 63.45 per cent.
"I have voted for my country. I have voted for people of this country," said Dikshit.
