Woman dies, 3 hurt in multi-car crash in Delhi

A 48-year-old woman was killed and three others were injured after a speeding car hit two vehicles in north Delhi's Civil Lines area on Wednesday, police said.

The driver, identified as 20-year-old Shrey Gupta was arrested by the Delhi police.
Gupta, a resident of DRDO Complex Timarpur was heading towards Indraprastha college from Civil Lines when the accident happened.
The accused was also injured and discharged from hospital after treatment, police said. His three friends fled the spot, police added.
"The probe is underway to ascertain whether accused and his friends had consumed alcohol or not," said Monika Bhardwaj, DCP of north district.
