Kartik Aaryan gets customised stamps from Lucknow post office while shooting Pati Patni Aur Woh

Chief Post Master General office in Hazratganj, Lucknow, has gifted Kartik Aaryan customised 'My Stamps' that can be used anywhere across the globe.

Kartik Aaryan, who is shooting his next film Pati Patni Aur Woh in Lucknow, got a customised gift from the director of Hazratganj Post Office. The actor has been gifted with a customised 'My Stamp', featuring him, from the Chief Post Master General office in Hazratganj, Lucknow. The actor shot a major portion of the comedy at the post office.

According to a report in Mid-day, the postal stamp can be used around the world. Krishna Kumar Yadav, director, Postal Services, Head Post Office, Hazratganj, told the daily, "Kartik was excited when we shared the stamp with him. We told him that they could be used to write letters not only to people in India, but also abroad. We wanted to give something to the actor that he will cherish as he shot for weeks in our office. What could be more special than him being a part of the stamp collection! It is a new initiative that we have undertaken."

Kartik is also overwhelmed by the sweet gesture of the post office. He said, "I was surprised to see myself on the stamps. It's such a thoughtful gesture. It feels great to receive so much love."

Recently, a picture of Kartik Aaryan sitting inside the post office went viral. The actor was shooting at the post office for his upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh. He will be seen sharing screen space with Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in the film. Several videos and pictures of the stars from the shoot of the film have gone viral.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Pati Patni Aur Woh is the remake of Sanjeev Kumar's 1978 film of the same name. The film also had Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur.

The remake, which is expected to be a comical take on extra-marital affairs, will release in theatres on January 10, 2020.
