Will Deepika stop kissing on screen after marrying Ranveer? Here is her response
Deepika Padukone was asked if she would adopt a no-kissing policy after her marriage with Ranveer Singh.
Fans are still not over Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's dreamy Italian wedding. After getting married according to Konkani rituals on November 14, they tied the knot in a traditional anand karaj ceremony on the following day at the breathtaking Villa del Balbianello at Lake Como in Italy.
In an interview with a leading film magazine, Deepika was asked if she will add a no-kissing clause to her contract after marriage. "Chee!" was her instant reaction.
Ranveer has already plunged into work and is currently busy with the promotions of Rohit Shetty's Simmba. The film, which also features Sara Ali Khan, is slated to hit the theatres on December 28.
Deepika, meanwhile, will soon start shooting for Meghna Gulzar's next directorial venture, in which she will be seen playing acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The actress will also turn producer for the as-yet untitled film.
Because of their professional commitments, Ranveer and Deepika had to put their honeymoon plans on hold. When she was asked at a recent event about her honeymoon plans, she said, "I don't know, I don't think we have planned anything as of now. Right now, we are looking forward to his (Ranveer's) film release."
Deepika said that she and Ranveer would "figure out" their honeymoon plans after Simmba hits the theatres. "Right now, we are just focussed on his film releasing and we will figure out honeymoon and birthday and all after that," she said.
