Schools to reopen in J&K today, flood alert in Delhi, Rajnath Singh drops a bombshell, more

Jammu and Kashmir is slowly limping back to normalcy after almost two weeks of clampdown. Several restrictions were already eased in the valley in the past couple of days and today over 190 schools over several zones of Srinagar will be open and landline services will also be functional.

In other news, a red alert has been issued in low-lying areas of Delhi as the water level in Yamuna River is expected to cross the danger mark after lakhs of cusecs of water was released from Haryana’s Hathni Kund Barrage on Sunday.

On the other hand, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has hit out Pakistan yet again and said that talks with Pakistan will only be held when the neighbours stop harbouring terrorists. He also said that from now on, India will hold talks only on PoK.
