Pehlu Khan lynching case: Rajasthan govt likely to move High Court opposing order

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday said his government will appeal against the verdict in Pehlu Khan lynching case. A local court in Rajasthan acquitted six out of the nine accused of lynching Pehlu Khan in 2017. The Alwar court acquitted all six lynching accused giving them benefit of doubt.

One of the points raised by the defence counsel in the case is the fact that the court did not consider video footage as admissible evidence.
