MS Dhoni is making the most of his time in lockdown. The India skipper has had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with his family and friends as the forced break due to the Covid-19 pandemic came just before he was set to return from his sabbatical.

From driving tractors to taking Ziva on indoor bike rides, MS Dhoni has been able to stay away from the spotlight despite speculations being rife about his international career.

Dhoni's wife Sakshi Singh Rawat has played a crucial role when it comes to showing glimpses of the India star's life in lockdown and keeping his fans posted.

On Thursday, Sakshi took to Instagram to share an adorable video of MS Dhoni cuddling his pet dogs at their Ranchi residence. Dhoni can be seen sitting on his couch as his pet dogs crave for attention.

Ziva, who can be seen using a tablet, watches on impressed.

Only recently, MS Dhoni and Ziva were spotted riding a bike even as thunder and lightning was on in the background at their Ranchi farmhouse. Dhoni made Ziva sit on the fuel tank as the father-daughter duo enjoyed a rainy evening.

Sakshi had spoken about Dhoni's love for bikes in a recent interaction with sports presenter Rupa Ramani for Chennai Super Kings. Sakshi revealed how Dhoni modified his own bikes during the lockdown.

"Mahi has 9 bikes. He opened them up, he bought parts and assembled them. He was assembling a bike and fully assembled it and he forgot to put one part and the next day he had to open the bike and he had to do it all over again," Sakshi said.

Dhoni has not played international cricket since the World Cup in 2019. Even as speculations are rife about his future in the sport, the World Cup-winning former captain has maintained a low=profile, keeping mum about his plans.

Sakshi shed light on why MS Dhoni has shied away from being active on social media and talking about the crisis situation during the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Mahi won't come and talk on Insta live. He has had pressure to post videos on Coronavirus and all but he hasn't because if your PM has said something, you jolly well follow it. And nobody is bigger than your PM right now in the country. This is the reason why he hasn't come and stated anything on social media," Sakshi said.
