In the second ODI against Australia, Dhoni did not have a good outing with the bat as he was sent back to the pavilion for a duck, the 10th instance in his glorious career. In the first ODI however, Dhoni had scored an unbeaten 59 to inspire an Indian victory.

Therer was also a funny incident in the second ODI between India and Australia, where Dhoni was chased around the stadium before the start of the Australian innings.

In the 1st ODI, Dhoni had also become the most prolific six-hitter for India in one-day internationals as he hit his 216th ODI six to overtake Rohit Sharma.
