Fastest network in Delhi NCR has been announced by Ookla: Vodafone tops the chart
Ookla has elected Vodafone Idea as the fastest network in the Delhi NCR region. Vodafone Idea has completed network integration in the region.

The telecom sector has been at its fiercest state lately, with all operators trying to outdo their rivals with predatory pricing and unmatched benefits. Network performance has always been the key factor in deciding the superiority of a network and Airtel has been claiming to be the fastest network for a long time. However, Ookla has now released the updated list and a new name has topped the list Vodafone Idea.
Vodafone Idea is leading the charts when it comes to network speeds in the region of Delhi NCR. The Ookla speed tests have found Vodafone Idea’ 4G network to be the fastest network in the Delhi NCR region. Ookla’s findings are based on multiple parameters and all of them have verified that Vodafone Idea is overall the fastest network in the Delhi NCR region.
After Ookla’s declaration, Vodafone said that the operator has lately completed its network integration in East Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad regions. Vodafone Idea has set up 7,800 Massive MIMO, Small Cells and TDD sites to enhance coverage and network capacity in Delhi NCR region.

Vodafone Idea currently dominates the Indian telecom sector with largest market share, beating rivals such as Airtel, Reliance Jio, and BSNL by high margins. However, the operator has been losing its subscriber base at a rapid pace on a monthly basis. To tackle that, Vodafone has been going aggressive with additional benefits in the form of free subscription to third-party services.
Vodafone recently unveiled updated prepaid plans in the affordable range. The prepaid plan of Rs 399 has been now given an extra 400MB data, thereby increasing the per day data allotment to 1.4GB. Previously, the plan used to offer 1GB data per day. On top of that, this plan offers unlimited local and STD calls along with a total validity of 84 days.
