In a video that has gone viral on social media, two dogs and a monitor lizard engaged in an intense battle.
A video of a deadly battle between a monitor lizard and two dogs is doing the rounds of the internet and has swiftly gone viral on social media. The nearly two-minute video was shared on Facebook by a user, Himanshu Bhatt.
Shot in Uttarakhand, two dogs engaged in an intense battle with a monitor lizard. The lizard was trying to save itself as the dogs chased the reptile. At first, it tried to climb a tree but the dogs wouldn't let it escape and pulled its tail.
Unable to escape the spot, the lizard ultimately lost its grip from the bark of the tree as the dogs relentlessly pulled her down. Exhausted, it crawled on the grass. The dogs, however, did not stop and continued biting it. The monitor lizard also made an attempt to fight back but in vain.
As per the caption of the post written in Hindi, the battle continued for a good amount of time. The dogs continued with the chase and did not let the monitor lizard escape.
Locals, soon after, intervened and helped the lizard to save its life by chasing the dogs away.
That's really scary.
