A 27-year-old man from Hyderabad, Telengana, and his co-passenger died on Sunday night in a multiple-vehicle collision in San Francisco, United States.
The collision took place at the intersection of Third Street and Paul Avenue, Bayview District in San Francisco. Syed Waseem Ali died on the spot.
The family of the 27-year-old Hyderabad native, who lived in Fremont, California, has requested External Affairs Minister (EAM) Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to provide aid in shifting the mortal remains of Syed Waseem to Hyderabad.
They also sought help in getting visa for the family members who wish to visit the US.
Besides EAM, the family has also sought help from Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
