Hoosiers won't need to fly out to California to celebrate Hello Kitty's 45th anniversary this year.

While the "Hello Kitty Friends Around The World Tour" is not coming to Indiana, fans can get excited for a Hello Kitty Cafe Truck visit during the East Coast tour.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will set up shop from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 26 at Castleton Square Mall, 6020 E. 82nd St., Indianapolis. A West Coast tour stop will be in Gilbert, Arizona, on the same day.

The truck will be parked on Castleton Square Mall's south entrance circle drive between JCPenney and Aveda. It will feature a variety of exclusive Hello Kitty treats and limited-edition collectibles.

Fans line up to purchase food and collectibles from the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck.

Hello Kitty items available include both bow-shaped and stainless steel water bottles; cafe lunch boxes with confetti popcorn; giant Hello Kitty cookies; and sprinkle T-shirts.

Four new items can also be found on the truck: two different enamel pin sets, Hello Kitty Cafe canvas totes, Hello Kitty Cafe cushions and eight-piece Madeleine cookie sets.

A complete list of available drinks, food and collectibles can be found on the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck menu.

As an added bonus, any food purchase of $25 or more will score a free Hello Kitty Cafe pink mini tote while supplies last.

All purchases must be made with a credit or debit card. The truck does not accept cash.

Hello Kitty made its Japan debut in 1974 but didn't make its way to the United States until 1976, according to the website.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck made its first appearance at the Hello Kitty Con 2014 in California. Five years later, two trucks make East and West Coast tours spanning more than 80 cities.
