A 36-year-old woman died at the scene. The Marion County coroner's office on Tuesday identified her as Katreena Anderson. The coroner says she died of a gunshot wound. The manner of death was ruled a homicide.

A 51-year-old man was hospitalized Tuesday morning, officials said. The coroner's office said the man is being kept on life support for possible organ donation.

Investigators believe the man shot the woman and himself. The man and woman called family members before the shots were fired, IMPD Capt. Robert Troutt told Fox59.

“It’s sad," Troutt told Fox59.  "I talked to one of the brothers who got one of the calls and he talked to them and he just felt that he didn’t have a chance to try and talk them out of it. That the decision had already been made, so he feels a great loss."
