Indianapolis police identify man killed in double shooting

Indianapolis police have identified a man killed in a double shooting reported early Sunday on the northeast side.

William Scott III, 30, died of gunshot wounds in an incident that happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 3700 Orchard Avenue.

His death has been ruled a homicide by the Marion County Coroner's Office.

A second shooting victim located at the scene was hospitalized in critical condition.
