Indianapolis weather: Italian Street Festival disrupted, concerts postponed due to storms

Inclement weather in Indianapolis has forced the postponement or cancellation of multiple weekend events and caused the Holy Rosary Italian Street Festival to cancel the Saturday evening festivities for the event's second day of fun.

With severe thunderstorm warnings and a tornado watch Saturday evening in Central Indiana, organizers of this weekend's events have taken action. Here's how the weather has impacted the following events: 

Holy Rosary Italian Street Festival

The two-day festival that serves tastes of Italy to hungry Hoosiers originally planned to go on rain or shine, but the festival announced on its Facebook page that its Saturday evening festivities were canceled.  The first day of the festival was Friday.

Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra: The Music of Queen

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's Saturday performance, The Music of Queen, has been canceled, the organization announced on its Facebook page. If you bought tickets for this show at Conner Prairie, they will be valid at any future 2019 Kroger Symphony on the Prairie concert.

If you purchased tables, ISO Sunset Lounge, or premium parking passes, contact the ISO Box Office at 317-639-4300 beginning June 17. The organization will assist in exchanging your purchase for another performance.

Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn at White River State Park concert

Due to Sunday's weather forecast, the Young The Giant, Fitz And The Tantrums, and COIN concert at Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn at White River State Park has been moved to Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center. All reserved and lawn tickets will be honored for similar seat locations under cover of the pavilion, Ruoff announced on Facebook. It will be a pavilion-only show.

Gates open at 6 p.m., and the show begins an hour later.

Garfield Park concert

MOKB Presents has postponed Saturday's Big Head Todd and the Monsters + Toad The Wet Sprocket show at Garfield Park, the concert promoter announced. A new date for the show is being pursued but has not been announced. Saturday tickets for the show will be honored on the rescheduled date, the promoter announced.

Journey tribute band concert in Noblesville 

The opening concert of the Tribute Tour in Noblesville has been postponed, the city announced. Saturday's show, which was scheduled to take place at Federal Hill Commons, was to feature a Journey tribute band named Separate Ways. 

Officials are working with Separate Ways and the show's scheduled opener, Fishers School of Rock, to determine a new date for their show.  

Reba McEntire concert in Anderson

Saturday night's Reba McEntire concert at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing and Casino has been rescheduled for Aug. 24. All retail tickets purchased from Ticketmaster will be honored for the later date, according to Hoosier Park.

Those who want their ticket refunded can do so through July 15, and guests should visit Ticketmaster.com for future show updates and ticket availability.

Talbot Street Art Fair

As of 1:50 p.m. Saturday, the Talbot Street Art Fair was still open.
