Luke Bryan concert at Ruoff, two other shows in Indianapolis called off over weather

Nashville star Luke Bryan's Sunday concert at the Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center was postponed due to a severe thunderstorm warning affecting the Indianapolis area's northside.

The show was rescheduled for Oct. 11, according to the venue's Facebook page. 

All tickets for the Sunday performance will be honored on the new date, according to the post.

According to a National Weather Service statement, a dangerous line of storms was bringing damaging wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph and frequent lightning Sunday evening. 

"This storm has a history of producing damaging winds and hail. Take precautions if outdoors this evening as the line approaches the Indianapolis Metro and other portions of central Indiana,"  the weather statement said.

Other canceled shows

Sunday's JJ Grey & Mofro and Jonny Lang concert at the Farm Bureau Lawn at White River State Park was also called off due to weather concerns. The venue said it was working on getting a new date scheduled.

And the Indiana State Fair canceled the gospel music show headlining Mary Mary
