BISMARCK — To commemorate 100 years of its promotion of agriculture, commerce and industry in North Dakota, the North Dakota legislature has declared Monday, Feb. 25, as “Bank of North Dakota Day.” Signed into law in 1919, Bank of North Dakota (BND) is the longest-running, state-owned bank in the United States.
Several events are taking place to commemorate the bank’s anniversary, including the launch of a book, a museum in the bank lobby, student tours and a public event that will take place on July 29. For more information, visit https://bnd.nd.gov .
