FARGO — A Minnesota woman is set to appear in Cass County District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 16, on charges stemming from two robberies in which the victims were lured using online ads for prostitution .
Harleigh Josette Haugen, 19, of Mahmomen, Minn., faces two felony counts of conspiracy to commit robbery with an accomplice in connection with the two robberies at an apartment complex at 1818 2nd Ave. S. in Fargo.
According to charging documents:
On May 30, a man reported to police that he was robbed at the apartment complex. He told authorities that he solicited a prostitute by responding to an online ad and was directed to a specific unit at the apartment complex.
He said he saw two women when he arrived at the unit and was told to pay cash upfront. He said he was then told to leave when a man exited a bedroom and put a stun gun to his neck.

The victim said one of the women, later identified by authorities as Haugen, removed his phone and wallet looking for more cash before returning both of them.
Surveillance video showed a white vehicle parked at the apartment complex at the time of the robbery and three people matching the descriptions given drove off in the vehicle. It was determined the vehicle belonged to Haugen.
On June 6, a second man told authorities he was robbed at the same apartment complex. The victim told police he responded to an online prostitution ad and was directed to a unit at the complex, where several men robbed him.
The same white vehicle seen in surveillance video at the time of the first robbery was seen in video during the second robbery.
Prosecutor Reid Brady said there are no “imminent charges” pending against anyone else involved in the robberies and the investigation is ongoing. A message left for Haugen’s attorney had not been returned as of Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 15.
