MOORHEAD — Authorities here have accused a 27-year-old Fargo man with stealing about 100 letters and 15 packages at Concordia College.

Latherial Deon Taylor faces 15 felony counts of mail theft, according to documents filed Tuesday, Feb. 12, in Clay County District Court.

On Nov. 28, police were dispatched to Concordia College for a report of mail theft.

The mail room manager at Concordia told officers she collected all the mail delivered for the day by the U.S. Postal Service — about 100 letters and 15 packages — and placed it in a cart, according to court documents.

The manager told officers she left the cart unattended and the mail was gone when she returned. Surveillance footage helped identify the suspect as Taylor, court documents stated.
