Now, as we get towards the heart of football season, a lot of meaningful games are being played at the next level. As we get into the second half of the 2019 NFL campaign, here’s how some former NU stars fared during Week 10:
Dean Lowry - DE, Green Bay Packers
Lowry was able to pick up 3 total tackles against the Panthers this week, bringing his season total up to 28 so far. He and the Packers were able to get back on track after last week’s loss, winning 24-16 in Green Bay.
Tyler Lancaster - DT, Green Bay Packers
A week after recording his first assisted sack, Lancaster picked up his first solo sack against the Panthers. In a span of three weeks, the former UDFA has picked up 1.5 sacks and a crucial forced fumble and recovery, while playing just 28% of snaps during those games. With his current contract ending this offseason, Lancaster could be looking at a nice payday soon.
Danny Vitale - FB, Green Bay Packers
Although the former superback went another week without seeing the ball while also not officially recording a statistic on special teams, he was able to add another tally in football’s most under appreciated stat category — the fullback assist.

Despite a lack of touches, Vitale is proving to be a vital part of Green Bay’s goal-line offense. And yes, Dan, we are counting that as a stat now.
3 special teams tackles and were counting FB assists as a stat now lol

Anthony Walker Jr. - LB, Indianapolis Colts
After two solid weeks in a row, Walker had a somewhat quiet game against Miami, only registering three tackles. In the absence of starting QB Jacoby Brissett, Indianapolis struggled throughout the game, falling 16-12 to the lowly Dolphins.
Sherrick McManis - DB, Chicago Bears
Playing mainly on special teams, McManis recorded one tackle against NFC North rival Detroit. The Bears were able to snap a four-game skid with a 20-13 win against the Lions.
Austin Carr - WR, New Orleans Saints
Carr recorded zero stats this Sunday against the Falcons. The Saints’ offense was uncharacteristically bad this week, failing to score a touchdown in a 26-9 home loss against Atlanta.
Joe Jones - LB, Denver Broncos
Jones and the Broncos had a BYE this week. They will return next week against the Vikings in Minneapolis.
Ifeadi Odenigbo - DE, Minnesota Vikings
Odenigbo only recorded one tackle against the Cowboys, but it was a big one. Blowing through the line almost immediately, he was able to drop ball carrier Ezekiel Elliot in the backfield on a late-game third down, forcing a challenging fourth and five that Dallas was unable to covert.

Justin Jackson - RB, Los Angeles Chargers
After finally returning to action after being sidelined for a calf injury, Jackson was listed as doubtful early in the week going into the Chargers’ Thursday night game against Oakland. On Thursday he was listed as inactive, hinting that his calf injury is still lingering.
Ibraheim Campbell - S, Green Bay Packers
Making his season debut after a torn ACL suffered last December, Campbell was ready to play football. Playing a significant number of snaps at safety, Campbell was able to record six tackles and a strip, helping Green Bay defeat the Panthers 24-16.
Tyrell Sutton - RB, Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL)
Sutton and the Tiger-Cats were given a BYE for the first week of the CFL playoffs. They’ll face the Edmonton Eskimos this week for a chance to play in the 107th Grey Cup.
Practice Squad Members: Clayton Thorson, QB, Dallas Cowboys; Blake Hance, OT, Jacksonville Jaguars; Montre Hartage, S, Miami Dolphins
*New York Jets QB Trevor Siemian is out for the year after having season-ending surgery on his ankle.
