SCHOOLS throughout Inverness made an effort to raise funds for those less fortunate on Red Nose Day last Friday.

The day which comes every two years, is an event in which people across the country can wear a red nose or host activities to raise money at home, school or work.

The day is part of the Comic Relief telethon and all the money raised goes towards helping vulnerable people and communities across the UK and internationally.
