ALMOST 4500 city revellers braved the weather last Saturday to go wild as the Kaiser Chiefs brought a riot to Inverness – as predicted.

The Northern Meeting Park saw some showers, but not enough to stop an 80-minute set from the five-piece.

The place was jumping as the band, led by Ricky Wilson, tore through a set stuffed with old favourites like I Predict a Riot and number one single Ruby.

These were mixed with a cover of Pinball Wizard during the encore and songs from their latest album, Duck.

Miracle Glass Company opened proceedings with their laid-back rock and The LaFontaines brought things to the next level with a hyperactive and energetic performance.

But the Kaisers were the main attraction with Ricky leading several mass singalongs.

The gig was part of Live in the City by LCC Live.
