AN Indian restaurant in Inverness has been voted among Scotland’s top 15 eateries for Indian cuisine in Scotland in a national paper.

The Saffron restaurant in Cradlehall has 24 covers but also provides a carry out service.

Run by Zakir Khan (pictured) and his father Abdul, the restaurant opened five years ago after Mr Khan Snr had run a restaurant in Dingwall successfully for over 35 years.

It came 11th in the rankings.
