Police have arrested two 15-year-old boys.

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with an alleged housebreaking in an Inverness neighbourhood.

Residents in Hilton reported seeing police cars in Mackay Road early this morning.

A police spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that two males – both 15-years-old – have been arrested in connection with an alleged housebreaking in Inverness area during the early hours of Friday, June 21.

"They have both been released pending further enquiries."
