Girl missing from Bracknell for six weeks found

A girl who was reported missing from Bracknell in September has been found by the Metropolitan Police.

Soviya Rajaratnam, aged 16, was reported missing from Chesterblade Lane in Bracknell, Berkshire on Wednesday, September 5.

Thames Valley Police handed over the investigation to the Metropolitan Police force.

Officers found her safe and well more than six weeks after the original appeal was put out.

During the search, Thames Valley Police said that she was known to frequent the Hounslow, Kingston-upon-Thames, Croydon, Thornton Heath and Wimbledon areas of London.

She had only recently moved to Bracknell at the time of the appeal.
