TCA's Macey Lee named Jackson area girls athlete of the week

TCA's Macey Lee is the winner of the girls athlete of the week poll in West Tennessee for Feb. 11-16.

Lee received 32.7 percent of the girls athlete of the week vote for a total of 127 votes.

Lee scored 54 points to go along with 12 rebounds, 13 steals and 11 assists as the Lady Lions beat Middleton, Halls and Peabody. TCA is 22-7 going into Thursday night's Region 7-A quarterfinal against Dresden.

South Side's Quanardra Miller was second in the girls voting with 98 votes (25.2 percent). 389 votes were cast in the girls athlete poll.
