A 32-year-old Jacksonville man has been arrested in Monday's shooting death of 28-year-old Rodriquez Quartez Campbell in front of the suspect's home in the 3600 block of Clyde Drive, according to jail and court records.

Michael Alexander Brown, 32, remains behind bars on $1 million bail following his Tuesday arrest on a charge of second-degree murder, according to jail records. Court records show Brown lived at the same home where the shooting occurred.

Officers were called there just after 10 p.m. to find Campbell dead in the front yard, the Sheriff’s Office said. Detectives interviewed a number of people at the scene. The Sheriff's Office's website indicates an arrest was made, but has not released Brown's arrest report.
