1 dead, 1 injured after double stabbing in Jacksonville's Northside

One person is dead and another is in serious condition after a double stabbing in Jacksonville's Northside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The incident happened Saturday night at 100 E. 63rd St, according to JSO. Police said they found two men at the scene with serious stab wounds to the heart and other areas. Both victims were rushed to UF Health where one victim died shortly after, police said.

The other victim remains in serious condition. Police believe the double stabbing is a domestic situation.

There is no word on what led to the deadly stabbing.
