A 21-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested after two girls said he videotaped them as they used the women's rest room Sunday at a Raceway convenience store at 7304 Lem Turner Road, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Joshua Nicholas Johnson of Mount Herman Street was charged with video voyeurism, according to jail records.

Officers were called to the convenience store after a woman said two girls ran out and told her a man "used his phone to videotape them" as they used the bathroom, the report said. The woman said she confronted the man, who told her he had deleted the videos, started to apologize and claimed he was "sick" and on medication.

One of the victims said she was seated on the toilet when she saw a shadow under the wall of the stall next to her but did not know what it was, the report said. When the other victim went into the same stall next, the first girl saw a man hidden in the next one, holding a cellphone and videotaping the victim next to him.

Store surveillance video showed the man go inside the bathroom, then several women used it without noticing him hidden in a stall, the report said.  Police seized the man's cellphone, and he was arrested, the report said.
