A 32-year-old woman is charged with third-degree attempted murder in an early Friday shooting that critically injured a man at her Westside home with children inside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Shaquila Helena Duhart was arrested at the scene on Seaboard Avenue and remains in custody on $250,000 bail, according to jail records. The identity of the man has not been released.

The Sheriff's Office said the shooting happened about 3:30 a.m. As one officer detained three people in front of the home, two more were in back handcuffing Duhart. Duhart was questioned but refused to identify the three children at the home, and her other comments to officers were redacted in the report.

The home was the same scene of an Aug. 18, 2017, shooting where two officers were wounded by a suicidal suspect while others were inside. Suspect Derrick Brabham, 25, was killed in the shootout, police previously said.
