Amelia Lewis of Jacksonville has signed a bag sponsorship deal with TIAA Bank.

LPGA touring pro Amelia Lewis of Jacksonville has signed a sponsorship deal with TIAA Bank that will include her support for the bank's Achieve BRG, a women's business resource group that promotes personal and professional development; and its sponsorship of the LPGA/USGA Girls Golf program.

Lewis, 29, a Bolles graduate, is only the second Jacksonville native in history to have exempt status on the LPGA, and the first to hold dual status on the LPGA and the Ladies European PGA Tour. She is a 10-year professional veteran.

TIAA Bank also has the naming rights to the city's stadium since 2018.

Lewis will unveil the TIAA Bank logo on her golf bag in two weeks at the Walmart Northwest Arkansas Championship on Aug. 28-30.

She said her motivation for becoming associated with TIAA Bank was the Achieve BRG program and its support of girls' junior golf.

"It's still very much a man's world in corporate America and TIAA Bank is trying to increase opportunities for women," she said. "Women need to have a greater voice."

TIAA Bank supports LPGA/USGA Girls Golf chapters in cities such as Chicago, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, San Diego and San Francisco. Lewis said she will encourage them to sponsor a Jacksonville chapter.

Lewis will begin her outreach with TIAA Bank by serving as the keynote speaker for Achieve BRG's virtual event on Women's Equality Day on Aug. 26.

"We're excited to team up with Amelia Lewis and the LPGA to introduce new generations to inspirational leaders and share diverse opportunities within our communities,” said Paul Pugh, vice president of marketing and community partnerships for TIAA Bank, in a statement.
