The Montpelier Older Kids Club met April 16 at the Legacy Center for lunch with seven members present.
Elaine Heinrich called the meeting to order with the Pledge of
Allegiance. The secretary and treasurer’s reports were read and
approved. There was no old business. For new business, the Legacy Center will be

providing the group with strawberry shortcake for Mother's Day at the next meeting,
and the club sang “Happy Birthday” to Mary Lu O'mera. Lorraine Gall won the
door prize. Patti DeBuck made a motion to adjourn, second by O'Mera.
Bingo was called by Dottie Murchie. The small picture frame won by O'mera, large picture frame by Heinrich, and blackout by Marlys Boughton. In whist, high and deuce were won by Boughton, and low by Patti DeBuck. In pinochle, high went to Heinrich and low to O'mera.
Lunch was served by O'mera in honor of her birthday.
The next meeting will be May 7, at the Legacy Center, Guests are welcome.
