Swap Meet

Teton County Commissioner Luther Propst will discuss the future of transportation in Teton County on Thursday at Teton County Library. The event is the first in a series of “Swap Meets” put on by the library, where elected officials discuss articles and big issues with county residents.

On the scale of “party” to “Town Council meeting,” Leah Shlachter says the Swap Meet is somewhere in the middle — but “definitely closer to the party.”

“It’s a different way of connecting, for the politicians to connect with the community as well as the community to connect with them,” Shlachter said.
