One killed, four wounded in overnight shootings in Milwaukee

A man was shot and killed outside Milwaukee Police District 3 Wednesday night, police said.

The man was shot about 9:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of North 50th Street and was driven to the police station, according to a news release.

Police and fire crews tried to save the person's life but were unsuccessful, police said. They did not immediately release the age of the victim.

Police arrested three people in the shooting: a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman, both from Wauwatosa, and a 19-year-old woman from Brookfield.

Four other people suffered gunshot wounds overnight that were not life-threatening.

Two men, ages 32 and 46, were shot in a robbery about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of North 20th Street, police said.

A 38-year-old woman was shot at 9 p.m. in the 7000 block of West Acacia Street, police said. The circumstances leading to the shooting are under investigation.

And a 23-year-old woman was shot about 1:30 am. Thursday in the 6000 block of West Fond du Lac Ave.

No suspects have been arrested in these shootings.
