Halloween in a cave, a film festival and more to do around Wisconsin this week

Mineral Point: Driftless Film Festival. The Mineral Point Opera House welcomes you to view regional films from Wisconsin-based producers and meet the filmmakers Nov. 1-4. The restored opera house features historic architectural elements that create a unique theater-going experience. dffest.org

Watertown: Harvest Ball. The 1st Brigade Band plays antique brass instruments while guests are dressed in the attire of the 1860s on Nov. 3. Informal dance instruction will be provided for those not familiar with mid-19th century dances. 1stbrigadeband.org

Monroe: Swissfest. Enjoy a Swiss variety show by folk choirs and singers followed by a dance at Turner Hall in Green County Nov. 4.
