“We’re ecstatic,” said Meghan Chambers, program director for the JAHC. “We feel very lucky that she’s coming here, and we get to work with her and one of the largest promoters in the United States.”

She said it goes to show how important the arts are to Juneau, and how that support of the arts is visible on a national level.

The concert, which is part of a Northwest jaunt that includes Vancouver and Anchorage as well as the capital city, will be presented by Live Nation.

Live Nation, a live entertainment company responsible for more than 30,000 shows and 100 festivals each year, will be working with JAHC and Centennial Hall to produce the event, Chambers said.

Tickets are not yet on sale, but they will be soon. Tickets for the all-ages show will cost between $59.50 and $99.50, according to Jones’ website.
