WASHINGTON, Ark. — A local state park is bringing history to life for students

Frontier Days is returning to Arkansas at the Historic Washington State Park Dozens of dedicated historians are setting up camp this weekend to experience the past.

These volunteers visit the park twice a year to bring history books to life and to share stories with students about what life was like on the frontier.

The park hosts Frontier Days twice a year. Reenactments and demonstrations wrapped up Sunday.
