A Des Moines man is in jail Wednesday for allegedly leading police on a chase through a central Iowa golf course. Donald Newton, 43, is charged with eluding police.Police said Newton refused to stop when officers attempted to pull him over. Newton took off toward Norwalk and drove through the Echo Valley Golf Club course, according to authorities.The chase ended on Sunset Drive.
