UPDATEDes Moines police said 63-year-old David Huey was located near 63rd Street and Grand Avenue. Police said he is safe and well, and is being reunited with his caregivers.PREVIOUSLYDes Moines police requested public assistance Wednesday in locating a missing Pleasantville man.Police said 63-year-old David Huey was last seen walking in the area of Sixth and University avenues and has been missing since around 9:30 a.m.According to police, Huey is a former Des Moines resident who has dementia and came to town for a medical appointment.Huey is 6 feet tall and approximately 100 pounds. He is balding with brown and gray hair and wears glasses.Police said he was last seen wearing khaki pants, a light-colored shirt and a dark-colored sports coat.Anyone who sees Huey is asked to call 911.
