PERSON FOUND: Des Moines police locate missing Pleasantville man

Police said he is safe and well, and is being reunited with his caregivers.PREVIOUSLYDes Moines police requested public assistance Wednesday in locating a missing Pleasantville man.Police said 63-year-old David Huey was last seen walking in the area of Sixth and University avenues and has been missing since around 9:30 a.m.According to police, Huey is a former Des Moines resident who has dementia and came to town for a medical appointment.Huey is 6 feet tall and approximately 100 pounds. He is balding with brown and gray hair and wears glasses.Police said he was last seen wearing khaki pants, a light-colored shirt and a dark-colored sports coat.Anyone who sees Huey is asked to call 911.
