Thursday is the last day of summer vacation for most students in the metro and a Valley High School student did something pretty cool during his time off.

Junior Sean Eddy spent the last three summers completing a Minecraft re-creation of downtown Des Moines.
Think of the game as an online version of Legos. Laid blocks depict all the landmarks.
Sean says he started playing the game in the fifth grade. He first completed 801 Grand. By the next summer, he was working on the Western Gateway area.
The project is on hold now. Sean tells KCCI he has five AP classes this year and school comes first.
