A man has died in a shooting late Thursday night in south Sacramento, police said. Police went to Coral Gables Court just after 10 p.m. after receiving a report of shots fired. There they found a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound, according to the Sacramento Police Department.Officers and paramedics rendered aid to the victim, but he was declared dead at the scene. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release his identity after his next of kin have been notified.Detectives do not have a suspect description to release at this time, police said.
