Presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders is holding a rally in Sacramento this week. Sanders will speak at downtown's Cesar Chavez Park on Thursday evening. The event starts at 6 p.m., but people will be allowed in the park starting around 4:30 p.m.The event is free, but entry is granted on a first come, first served basis, organizers said in a news release. RSVPs are encouraged.Due to limited parking in the area, organizers are asking people to walk, bike or carpool to the event. Sanders will be in San Francisco on Friday, where he is scheduled to address the Democratic National Committee at its summer meeting and later attend a town hall on student debt and college affordability.
