Sacramento police are searching for three men in connection with a deadly assault in south Sacramento.The victim was attacked Wednesday while walking on Freeport Boulevard, between Florin and Meadowview roads, Sacramento police said Monday.The man suffered serious injuries, including multiple facial fractures, and lost consciousness. Police said he took himself to the hospital the following day. Sacramento police began their investigation after being called to the hospital.The man died at the hospital on Sunday, police said. His name has not been released.Officers have canvassed the area for witnesses and evidence, police said.
