Police: Woman hit by bus in north Sacramento
A woman is in critical condition Saturday after being hit by a bus in north Sacramento, police said.The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment, Sacramento police said.The crash happened around 8:50 a.m. at Norwood Avenue and Silver Eagle Road. Police said the woman was crossing the road when she was hit. She was not in a designated crosswalk.The bus driver and the passengers on the bus were not injured.Police said the bus driver was not impaired at the time of the crash. Traffic was closed in all directions in the area as police investigated. The roadway reopened by 2:10 p.m.No other details were released.
